FARI was born in Zimbabwe and relocated to England at the age of 5. Known for an unwavering openness to various music genres, FARI finds inspiration in new musical styles, using them to craft innovative sounds and expand its musical repertoire.
At the age of 12, FARI initiated their musical journey by singing and playing the keyboard at their church on Sunday mornings. This experience became a crucible for learning the value of preparation and teamwork, shaping FARI's approach to their craft.
Despite hailing from a musical family, FARI is entirely self-taught in the instruments they play today.
FARI relishes the opportunity to add rhythmic elements to their songs, particularly during solo performances, enhancing the overall musical experience.
Recently incorporating looping as a central component of their performances, FARI is enthusiastic about pushing the boundaries and innovating within this facet of their music career, aiming for growth and evolution beyond simple looping and layering.
With a vision to create a comprehensive portfolio for the post-university 'real world,' FARI aspires to be a representative figure for those who lack adequate representation in the music industry.
